Jahnna Lee Randall is a fun loving Actress / Filmmaker who started her own film company called Why Wait Productions in 2012. She caught my attention two years ago during a BBQ where she arrived with her dog, Gizmo the Chihuahua, who also happens to be a hard working actor and Hollywood socialite.
Jahnna moved from Balsam Lake, Wisconsin to Los Angeles, CA to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. As an actress Jahnna’s resume boasts numerous pilots, independent films, award-winning short films, music videos, commercials, and radio appearances.
Jahnna and her dog Gizmo stay busy with shows like, 2Fur1 a Web Series, Puppies and Tiaras a Short Film, Dating Disasters a Mini Series, and her most recent project a music video parody called “Do You Miss Me“.
We Choose Art sat down with Jahnna Lee Randall and asked, “Why do you choose art?”
Jahnna stated:
I didn’t pick art; it chose me at a very young age.
Due to my active imagination I realized that being a filmmaker is the best artistic outlet for me!
As a child sitting in my desk at school I couldn’t focus. My creative mind didn’t want to pay attention to the subjects being talked about. Instead, I turned to writing and creating my own thrilling stories.
Creating films impacts my life everyday! I am blessed to do what I love and enjoy. It’s a wonderful feeling being able to tell a story and share it with the world. But the BEST feeling is when your art impacts someone or inspires them to create art and follow their dreams.
At the end of the day I like to believe the study of art is a collaborative effort and helps bring people together, which to me is very important.
