New York Comic Con

It’s hard to know what to expect your first time going to Comic Con. I have seen a lot of pictures, but talking face to face with characters come to life cannot translate from a still image. There seems to be something contagious about cosplay that makes players belong to a community of others who express various sides of themselves through role play. It’s an all inclusive world where even persons with non-creative jobs can have a chance to geek out painting their faces and be someone else for a while. Even though my knowledge of comic books and games is no where near the level of most cosplayers I chatted with, the convention definitely delivered a fantastic experience.
